Female tennis players in 2010 - What to expect from them?

2010 looks very promising for certain tennis hotties. Caroline Wozniacki is currently second ranked female tennis player in the world, and I would really like to see her become world No.1 by the end of this year though this won't be easy since Serena Williams is in fine form, and has healthy point advantage.

Jelena Jankovic has started remaining us on her best days, and she is definitely looking like coming to her very best, but will this very best be enough to see her finally win Grand Slam. Currently the hottest female tennis player Ana Ivanovic still struggles to find her best form though I've seen some glimpses of her old form in few of her matches. But glimpses will definitely not be enough to see her climb back to the very top of the order, and she definitely needs to find her momentum.

Elena Dementieva like always looks to be constantly among top with very little oscialltions, perhaps not enough to go all the way and become No.1 player but deffinitely good eneough for top ten ranking.

Yanina Wickmayer, Maria Kirilenko, Flavia Pennetta and Alona Bondarenko could pull few surprises but they will definitely need to find their top form if they want to achieve top ten ranking by the end of the year.

And Russian queen of beauty Maria Sharapova still looks like a complete mystery, and I still do not know what to think of her as she looks both capable of winning Grand Slam with relative ease as she does for first round exiting. It will be very interesting to see which of these two Marias will be at soon-to-come Grand slams.

In any case another thrilling tennis season is gaining the momentum. Can't wait to see the final outcome.

Will Caroline end the year as world's No.1 female tennis player?
