Still no Grand Slam for Jelena Jankovic

Jelena Jankovic unexpectedly lost her 4 round match at Australian Open in two straight sets against Frenchwoman Marion Bartoli that simply overpowered World No.1. Jelena Jankovic completed bad results for Serbian girls in this year Aussie Open as her hellow countrywoman Ana Ivanovic also lost in round before. This is something of a big surprise because Jelena Jankovic is symbol for consistency on WTA tour.

On the other hand we are very pleased with the fact that Jelena Dokic started showing signs of form of some years ago when she was NO.4 in the world. Jelena Dokic needed 8-6 in the third set against Kleybanova to progress further in front oh her home crowd. Could we see a big comeback? Well after all the problems Jelena Dokic had in the past that would be a miracle comeback. Lets hope her winning streak continues.
