Maria Sharapova's screaming - Love it or hate it?

Well one thing is sure Maria Sharapova sure screams a lot during the play and Colin from UK has asked us what we think about it. He finds this to be very irritating, especially to other players as it distracts their concentration and he thinks that she should learn to play without "sounding like a character from some trash horror movie".

I on the other hand do not find Sharapova's screaming so irritating, it is simply her style of play. Professional athletes should have sufficient levels of concentration to ignore these sound which Maria makes when hitting the ball. I think these sound are even giving certain flare to game as you have the feeling that Maria is really working hard, giving all she has to win point after point. But that's my opinion. Maybe you think different?

Heck we all know Maria Sharapova looks sensational (Maria Sharapova hot photos ) but what about her screaming?

    I think it's a normal habit for every athlete to scream, it's a good way to release the stress! And yes you've got a point that "Professional athletes should have sufficient levels of concentration to ignore these sound which Maria makes"

    maria, i love the way you grunt. i can hear your grunt all day long. it feels as if i am dying every moment when i donn't listen to your scream it truely shows your determination to win and dominate.

    It was at first nice, but now it's annoying and it serves no purpose in her game. She is a good enought player, we don't need the side show.
